The Aim of Our Charge
July 11-13, 2023
Advent Lutheran Church, Zionsville, IN
Since 2011, the ACELC addressed 10 errors because we believe that right doctrine and faithful practice promote the fullness of life that is in Christ. The 2023 conference allowed us to further articulate what our work is for and why it matters. Our presenters explored the theology and pastoral implications of 1 Timothy 1:5, which says, “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith,” (ESV).
